Life situations can be overwhelming. If you are experiencing this, it is an excellent time to consider counseling. The problem impairs your daily functioning (sleep patterns, etc.). Seeking counseling is a sign of strength and self-awareness. Family and friends are a great support. Sometimes, they care so much they cannot be objective. Our family and friends do not want us to feel hurt, so they may unknowingly allow us to continue with unhelpful behavior. Would anyone know I am in counseling? No one has the right to know that you even have an appointment without your written consent. Stringent HIPAA regulations regarding your privacy govern Bridgeway Center, Inc.
