August Employee of the Month is Dorothy Lane, Payroll/Accounting Specialist
Please join us in congratulating Dorothy Lane, Payroll/Accounting Specialist, for earning the award for Employee of the Month for August, 2021. Dorothy was selected for this award by the members of BCI’s Program Leadership. It is with great pride and admiration that we award Dorothy this distinguished designation. Dorothy started at Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) in October, 1998 and has been an essential part of BCI’s success since.
Dorothy was nominated by her supervisor, Sarah Fountain-Ibison, who said “Dorothy is such a vital part to the behind the scenes operations of BCI, let’s be honest we all appreciate her getting everyone paid on time every payroll week. She is so dedicated to her work and gets tasks accomplished quickly, accurately, and with great care ensuring any payroll issues are resolved as quickly as possible. Since the accounting program has been short staffed Dorothy has stepped up and taken on a number of tasks that typically would not fall on her shoulders. She has gone above and beyond with assisting to keep up with miscellaneous tasks around the office and offering to take on tasks she isn’t being asked to do. I couldn’t be more thankful to have her as part of this team.”
