Crisis Hotline/Rape Crisis Center

Bridgeway Center is Okaloosa County's Crisis Hotline and Rape Crisis Center.   Individuals who have suffered any type of sexual assault have a 24-hour hotline to call.  Specially trained advocates are here to offer non-judgmental and informative intervention to callers. 

You can be assured that your call is confidential and that we are here to assist you with the information you need to make important decisions about your care and treatment.

Whatever you decide -- whether to report or not to report, whether or not to seek medical attention, whether or not to inform a friend-- our team will respond. If you are already at the hospital, you can ask the medical staff or law enforcement officer to contact us. We will provide emotional support and help you get through this very difficult time.

The Bridgeway team believes that victims can become survivors. Rape is a devastating crime, but with the proper help, you can get past the pain and get on with your life. We offer free Victim's services after the incident to help you in the healing process.

Even if you suffered a sexual assault in the past, it is important to deal with what happened to you. Our Crisis Center Volunteers can help you get the assistance you need to finally cross the bridge from "victim" to survivor.
