Bridgeway Center Crisis Intervention Training Workshop for Sheriff's Deputies

Bridgeway Center, Inc. is partnered with the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office to provide Crisis Intervention Training, often referred to as CIT, to law enforcement and others in Okaloosa County. The training will provide skills, insight, and options to those first responders encountering individuals needing assistance with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.

The first 40 hour CIT training occurred in April of this year. The training has since been revised and the second training class will occur December 8th through 12th, 2008. Bridgeway speakers and subjects are as follow:
