MARCH 16, 2009 Leo Smith, age 89, passed away February 27, 2009, at the Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center. For more than 30 years, Leo Smith has been as certain as the rising sun in his daily arrival at Bridgeway Center, Inc.'s Detox Unit to facilitate client groups and to extend a warm welcoming hand to those struggling with the pain of addiction. He touch so many lives and assisted many individuals and families thruogh their private struggles. He changed lives by his love, generosity, experience, strength and telling it like it is. He never gave up on anyone, no matter how hopeless others deemed them to be. Bridgeway is proud of Leo's friendship with us. He will be deeply missed.
